"Ritter Rost 2: Das Schrottkomplott" is an animated film co-directed by Thomas Bodenstein and Marcus Hahmann. The story follows the land of Schrottland, which faces bankruptcy as over half of the national budget is spent on the king and his knights. Ritter Rost is forced into early retirement and begins searching for a new job. In the basement of his castle, he encounters a ghost who reveals the unfinished work of his father, a former inventor of Schrottland. When the power-hungry Chief of Police takes over the country, Ritter Rost finally realizes he must take action to protect the nation and his father's vision.
