The "Body Function Extension Technology" was a new technology developed by Berühren Corporation during the war. Those who had part or all of their bodies mechanized through this technology were called "Extends." In a society where Extends and unmodified, flesh-and-blood humans coexisted, conflicts were constant, and Inui Juzo made a living as a "resolver," someone who dealt with such problems. And Juzo himself was an "Extend" with a massive gun for a head. One day, Juzo was asked by a giant, fully mechanized man to protect a young boy. The boy's name was Arahakaki Tetsuro—a child who had been kidnapped from Berühren Corporation. However, although Juzo accepted the request, Tetsuro was taken from him by pursuers from Berühren Corporation. Driven by circumstances, Juzo finds himself confronting Berühren Corporation, which dominates the city... Who is the fully mechanized man who kidnapped Tetsuro? What is the relationship between Berühren Corporation and Tetsuro?
