This film is a spin-off of Disney's 1981 production "The Fox and the Hound," returning to the childhood of the little fox Tod and the little hound Copper. At that time, Tod (voiced by Jonah Bobo) and Copper (voiced by Harrison Fahn) had already become very close friends. Whenever Copper felt worthless, Tod would always encourage him to regain his confidence. One day, a performance troupe composed of hounds arrives in town, which delights the little hound Copper immensely. Not only does he meet many dog friends of his own kind, but he even discovers his own performance talent. However, as Copper becomes increasingly popular, Tod begins to feel jealous and neglected. Faced with the prospect of Copper leaving home to tour with the performance troupe, how will Tod keep his good friend? The friendship between Tod and Copper is once again put to the test.
This film was released in the United States at the end of 2006 and was distributed directly through home video products.
