This film is the sequel to Disney's 1995 release "Pocahontas," continuing the story from the first installment.
In the year 1612, Pocahontas (voiced by Irene Bedard) hears rumors of John Smith's (voiced by Donal Gibson) death, causing her to question whether the decision she made back then was right or wrong. Later, in pursuit of peace between her people and the British settlers, she embarks on a journey across the ocean to London, England, accompanied by a promising young British diplomat, John Rolfe, setting off on an unprecedented voyage to a new world! The three little animals, Meeko, Percy, and Flit, also stow away on the journey! When Pocahontas arrives in London and plans to meet the King of England at Buckingham Palace, she unexpectedly encounters the villain Ratcliffe, who is preparing to return to the New World in search of gold and plans to launch warships to exterminate the Native Americans. Thus, Pocahontas once again dedicates herself to fighting for her people's freedom. In the film, she even dons European-style formal attire to meet the King and Queen of England at Buckingham Palace. While in a foreign land, she finally reunites with John Smith, from whom she had long heard no news. However, in the end, Pocahontas chooses to part ways with John Smith and returns to the American continent with the British diplomat John Rolfe, concluding this unforgettable journey to a new world.
