On the technologically advanced planet Psykon, robots led by Master stage a rebellion. The people of Psykon barely escape via spaceship and head toward Earth. However, Master's fighters pursue them, and the spaceship's small escape pod can only carry one person. A Psykonian named Pigaro places his son, Esper, into the escape pod and sends him to Earth, sacrificing his own life. Years later, Esper is found by Dr. Kim and grows into a splendid young man. One day, he discovers a necklace dropped by a mysterious woman and, following its guidance, heads into the desert. Esper and his companions discover the Solar System, hidden for 500 years, and board the pilots of Solar 1, 2, and 3. Sensing this, Master sends giant robots to confront Solar 1, 2, and 3.
