Compared to the main anime series, this has a stronger emphasis on slapstick comedy. While volumes 1 and 2 are somewhat based on episodes from the original manga, volumes 3 and 4 feature original stories not found in either the manga or the TV anime. Additionally, this marks the first appearance of Chinami and Kozue in the anime adaptation. All four volumes were released exclusively in convenience stores by Liverpool starting in June 2005. Each volume includes bonus interview footage with the voice actresses who played the four main heroines.
