"Age 18, the final year of high school. But Rikka... is still a chuunibyou!" During the spring break of their senior year, with university entrance exams approaching, Yuuta and Rikka continue living together, yet it seems they still haven't formed an "upper-level contract." One day, Touka suddenly announces that she plans to take Rikka to live in Italy: with her job now stable, she wants the whole family to move there. Although Yuuta feels anxious about this, he also agrees with Touka's view that "we can't just leave Rikka alone when she's highly likely to fail her university exams." If things continue like this, their relationship could very well develop cracks. Worried about this, Nibutani and the others unexpectedly propose to Yuuta that they "elope." And so, with all of Japan as their stage, the two begin their escape drama.
