The Legend of Judge Bao: The Case of Executing Chen Shimei A poor scholar, Chen Shimei, in his pursuit of fame and fortune, sacrifices his conscience and colludes with a sorcerer, ultimately becoming the imperial son-in-law. His wife, Qin Xianglian, searches for him but is not only unrecognized but also hunted down. After being rescued by Zhan Zhao, she exposes Chen Shimei's crimes to Judge Bao.
